Relaxation massage is a gentle Swedish massage that uses smooth, gliding strokes to help you relax. The massage therapist will move at a slower pace and use lighter pressure.
There is less emphasis on working out serious adhesions or "knots" in the muscle tissue, which can be uncomfortable and cause some people tense up against the pressure. In a relaxation massage, the therapist won't push your pain limits in order to get the muscle to release. You might even fall asleep! It's a good choice for someone who is getting a massage for the first time, or someone who just wants to bring their stress level down.
Signature Lymphatic Drainage (female)
The treatment helps reduce muscle tension, improve metabolism of the body, and boost the immune system.
The lymphatic circulation system takes a very important role in our body. It is a major component of the immune system that helps fluid and toxin leave the body through respiration, perspiration and excretion. Lymphatic drainage treatment is a delicate form of massage that uses relaxing essential oils, together with specific drainage techniques to stimulate the body’s lymphatic system.
Chinese Medical Tui Na Massage focuses on the same acupuncture points and meridians as those in acupuncture; but the hands and fingers take the place of needles.
The therapist may brush, knead, roll/press, and rub the areas between each of the joints, known as the eight gates, to attempt to open the body's defensive chi and get the energy moving in the meridians and the muscles. In Chinese, Tui means "to push"; Na means "to get".
Deep Tissue Massage
The treatment is most suitable for deep pressure massage, especially on the neck, shoulder and back.
If you are a professional or recreational athlete, do heavy physical work or suffer from chronic pain and injuries, our therapist will apply deep tissue massage. Deep tissue massage is such a powerful therapeutic technique because it goes deeper than the typical relaxation massage. The focus is almost solely on the less superficial layers of muscles, making it a popular choice of therapy for rehabilitating soft tissue dysfunctions that are a result of sports-related injuries, and muscle aches and strains caused by everyday activities such as working, lifting and gardening.
Included in the treatment: sea salt foot bath and neck shoulder massage
In Asian cultures, our feet are like the roots of a tree. The sole of the foot has thousands of nerve endings and many acupressure points which are connected to vital organs of the body. Reflexology is the natural therapy which helps to relieve pain, tension, and increase relaxation in the body through stimulating the reflex areas on the foot.
Hand Reflexology is equally effective as foot reflexology, but not well known. There are reflex points on the hands indicating every organ, gland, and parts of the body. By using the unique thumb and finger techniques on these hand reflexes, the body responds by relaxing, rebalancing, and improving blood circulation.
